The Cancer Prevention and Control Program at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center of Georgetown University have openings for unpaid research interns to work on the Measuring Your Health (MY-Health) study. The project measures the symptoms and function of cancer patients. Responsibilities include: entering Medical Record data, and conducting literature searches.
This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduates interested in attending nursing/medical school or health science graduate studies. Applicants enrolled in a psychology, pre-med, or public health-related program are preferred.
The schedule is flexible but interns are expected to stay through the Spring semester.
