Research Assistant (Entry level, full-time)

Description:
Windrose Vision is seeking a research assistant to work on research and program evaluation projects in a team-based and fast-paced research environment. The ideal candidate will give careful attention to detail, and possess strong skills in writing, logical thinking, and problem-solving. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and schedule interviews and meetings for data collection activities
-Attend meetings with high-level officials in governmental and non-profit organizations and take accurate notes of proceedings
-Assist Director in developing evaluation plans and timelines
-Develop protocols and data collection tools (e.g., questions for surveys, interviews, and focus groups)
-Collect, enter, and prepare data for quantitative and qualitative analyses
-Assist in conducting preliminary data analyses (using software for qualitative data analysis and statistical software for quantitative data analysis), and graphically representing data findings
-Assist in developing written reports, oral briefings, publications, and presentations
-Assist in developing proposals for new projects
-Assist with other administrative and logistical duties related to the planning, implementation, and reporting of evaluation projects

-Bachelors Degree (required), Master's Degree (or coursework towards Master) is preferred
-Ability to plan, anticipate, and manage multiple tasks
-Strong analytic skills and problem solving abilities
-Exceptional oral and written communication
-Ability and flexibility to work as a contributing member of a project team in a collegian manner, and work independently as needed
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required
-Knowledge of SPSS statistical software is strongly preferred
