The Maryland Psychotherapy Clinic and Research Lab (MPCRL) is seeking motivated undergraduate research assistants for the Fall 2013/Spring 2014 academic year. The MPCRL provides high-quality counseling and psychotherapy to adults in the Prince George's County, Montgomery County, and Washington, D.C. area. treatment focuses on insight and understanding difficulties in relationship problems, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and meaning of life. Responsibilities:
-Assist with administrative tasks that keep clinic running, as well as interact with clients and therapists
-Become involved with the clinic's research studying effectiveness of psychotherapy research
-View, code, and occasionally transcribe therapy sessions
Qualifications:
-Interpersonal Skills
-Dedication, enthusiasm, and professionalism
-Minimum 3.5 GPA
-Minimum of six hours per week, for volunteer or credit
-Must commit to both Fall 2013 and 2014
