Summer Internship Opportunity
Description:
The Berkeley Lab utilizes looking time, eye tracking, exploratory play, and other behavioral methods to investigate probabilistic reasoning and statistical inference in social cognition, category learning, physical reasoning, and other domains. The goal of this internship is to provide hands on research experience to students interested in pursuing graduate work in Cognitive Development or a related field. The internships are for 20-30 hours/week for 8-10 weeks between end of May and mid-August, 2013.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Conduct research at local children's museums and in the lab
Collaborate on a variety of on-going and new projects
Attend weekly lab meetings
Present work for feedback
Discuss current papers published that relate to lab projects
Qualifications
Coursework in Developmental Psychology
Programming Skills
Experience working with children
