Undergraduate Research Assistant Positions

Project Description:
The research in the Early Childhood Interaction Lab focuses on understanding how young children's social interactions with adults and peers influence their cognitive development. Interests include how play and informal learning activities promote children's thinking in the areas of mathematics, problem solving, and planning.

Responsibilities:
-Conducting interviews with children in local preschools
-Data entry
-Recruiting participants for projects
-Coding videotapes of children playing
-Preparing materials for visits

Preference will be given to students who are available to work in the lab for at least two semesters.
