Paid Research Assistant positions

Project Topics/Description:
How individuals use control in the pursuit of their goals (i.e., self-regulation). This includes both the strategies people use (e.g., goal-setting) as well as the various processes (e.g., cognitive control, emotion regulation, self-efficacy) of successful self-regulation.
Responsibilities:
Searching, reviewing, and analyzing existing literature
Analyzing interview themes / qualitative data coding
Managing and processing quantitative data (e.g., surveys)
Supporting survey design, development, and (online) administration
Running of lab experiments
Ideal Qualifications:
Undergraduate psychology or management major who is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in social psychology and/or organizational research and interested in gaining experience in the research process. The ideal candidate for this job will also have:
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Intellectual curiosity.
Strong quantitative skills a bonus.
High ethical standards.
Compensation:
Pay rate, length of role, and exact average time commitment per week to be negotiated, estimating $9-11/hour (based on experience).
