Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area - Baltimore, Maryland/Falls Church, Virginia/Silver Spring, Maryland
The Employment Services Intern will provide support to LSS/NCA Office by helping the Employment Manager and Advocates to plan, develop and administer employment-related services to all LSS/NCA clients.

Qualifications

 Excellent written and oral communication skills
 Experience working in a social services setting or a background in psychology or social work
 Organized and detail oriented
 Able to work independently
 Possess an interest in international and refugee issues as well as working in a cross-cultural environment
 Sociable, outgoing personality
 Some knowledge of the following languages a plus: Burmese, Chin, Karin, Swahili, Farsi, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, French, Nepali and Amharic
