Great research assistant opportunity in the LEAP Lab!
Dr. Blanchard's Laboratory of Emotion and Psychopathology is seeking a Spring 2012 undergraduate research assistant for a project on "Individual Differences in Motivation and Effort."
Research Project Description: The Laboratory of Emotion and Psychopathology (LEAP) offers undergraduate BSOS majors an exciting opportunity to work as a research assistant on two ongoing research projects: (1) understanding psychological and physiological factors that impact motivation and effort in adults; (2) coding emotions and social skills in schizophrenia patients. Course credit is optional for this lab.
Responsibilities: Collecting and interpreting physiological and behavioral data (e.g., blood pressure), recruiting and assisting in the completion of study assessments, coding video data, and potentially collaborating on data analysis, poster presentations, and manuscripts.
Requirements: Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior BSOS major with a 3.5 minimum gpa and the ability to work 9 hours per week. Research training will be provided.
