Research Coordinator Position
Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute


Responsibilities:
-Conduct studies with functional neuroimaging in healthy and clinical populations, including those with traumatic brain injury, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression
-Responsible for recruiting, screening, consenting, assessing, and maintaining good communication with research participants and collaborators
-Collect data from various modalities including fMRI, fNIRS, EEG, and genetic samples
-Organize project funds and prepare IRB protocols
-Acquire overall knowledge of all lab projects and manage day to day logistics of ongoing lab projects

Qualifications:
-BA/BS in psychology, engineering, biology, or related field, equivalent education, and experience
-Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills
-Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point
-Desire to work in a fast-paced research environment
-Experience preparing and implementing IRB protocols and experience with human participants preferred
-Experience with MATLAB and Statistical Analysis preferred
