Fall Research Internship with Georgetown University's Memory Disorders Program. 5 Intern Positions Available.

The Memory Disorders Program (MDP) at Georgetown University 
is a research group dedicated to investigating the effectiveness of treatments for Alzheimer’s and Dementia disorders. MDP also focuses on the recruitment of underrepresented groups (URGs) in order to effectively assess the onset and treatment of dementia in a broader and more representative patient population.
 
The Memory Disorders Program at Georgetown University is seeking 5 motivated Undergraduate Interns to join our research team. Interns will assist the research team in patient data management and collection under the supervision of MDP coordinators, liaisons, and clinicians. Opportunities will be provided for interns to shadow clinicians during patient visits and is open to students with interests in Neuroscience, Psychology, and healthcare. This position is being offered for the Fall semester, with the opportunity to continue into the Spring semester, based on performance, scheduling, and MDP needs.

Responsibilities: 
4 hours per week in the lab
Data entry and management
Preparation for study visits
Aid in recruitment efforts and preparation of recruitment materials

Qualifications/Requirements: 
Must be available to come on-site one day a week for four hours
Previous research experience is preferred but not required
Previous completion of related undergraduate coursework
