Coordinator to assist in the daily running of the Mary
D. Ainsworth Psychological Training Clinic and provide administrative support to the clinical area in the Department of Psychology.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-Patient care coordination:
-Conducts telephone screenings and schedules client appointments
-First point of contact for all who enter the Clinic
-Screens and triages all telephone calls and visitors
-Acts as a liaison between clients and graduate student therapists
-Assists with management of clinical crises (e.g., clients expressing wish to hurt themselves or others)
-Answers inquiries about Clinic services, research opportunities and policies from callers, clinicians and supervisors
-Provides referrals to clients
-Prepares clinical evaluation materials and does data entry.
Clinic Office Management:
-Manages the administrative and clerical functions of the Clinic
-Manages the handling of confidential and private clinical files
-Ensures record keeping and other clinic activities comply with mental health guidelines, privacy laws, and standards of care, and adhere to UVA, state and federal policies and procedures
-Handles parking vouchers, confidential shredding, and university compliance documents
-Maintains office supplies for the Clinic, clinical forms, and assessment scoring programs;
-Provides administrative support for the Clinic Director.
-Administrative duties for the Director of Clinical Training:
-Assists with gathering and organizing information from current and former students, faculty, and supervisors to support clinical area operations and accreditation requirements
-Support for administrative report writing.
This full-time position will remain open until filled.
