Digital Marketing Video Editing Internship with Evolving Minds Mental Health Non-Profit!


About Us:
We are in the midst of a national mental health crisis. Between 1999 and 2014, the United States suicide rate has increased 24%. Here at the University of Maryland, 1 in 3 Terps will feel too depressed to function. There is a great need for innovation, creative ideas that inspire cultural change and save lives. At Evolving Minds, a mental health 501 c 3 nonprofit start-up, we are developing innovative mental health preventative care programming and envisioning compassionate responses to a mental health crisis that affects us all. 

Internship Responsibilities: 
We are seeking a passionate and engaged Digital Marketing - Video Editing Intern to join our team. Details below. 

-Create and edit videos for website, social media, and support other organizational needs (Teachable videos, etc.) 
- Curate and execute a social media plan on a monthly basis 
- Envision weekly video uploads for TikTok and other EM social media platforms 
- Collaborate with Mental Health Research and Graphic Design interns 
- Support fundraising initiatives 
- Market social media channels and increase University of Maryland student engagement 
- Experience in video editing required Ideal candidates are students with a passion for mental health, social entrepreneurship and a genuine care for others. 

This is a growth-oriented work environment with opportunities for autonomy, creativity, and leadership. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and filled ASAP. The internship begins this fall, September 2020, and lasts through December 2020. A 20 hour time commitment per week is expected with flexible responsibilities. This position is unpaid.
