Description:
We are seeking bright and motivated volunteer undergraduate research assistants for Summer 2022. Research conducted by members of our lab focuses on understanding how young children's social interactions and play influences early math learning. We also examine factors that influence math development, such as language and cognitive skills.

Research assistants are responsible for a variety of daily lab activities, including data collection with children, as well as data coding and entry. This opportunity is ideal for students interested in graduate school, or those interested in gaining valuable hands-on research experience.

Responsibilities:
-Assist with subject recruitment
-Data entry in Excel or SPSS
-Conducting virtual interviews with children
-Coding Study Videos
-Preparing study materials

Qualifications/Requirements:
-Must be willing to commit 6-9 hours to the lab with at least three of those hours in the late afternoon/evening
-Experience working with children and diverse populations is preferred
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
