Description:
Are you looking to gain research experience and prepare for graduate school? This dissertation will compare the online and in-person interactions of adolescents and examine differences in how adolescents engage with each other in these contexts, as well as their emotional and physiological responses. It will also investigate how personality traits such as shyness and extraversion relate to adolescents' social interactions.

Responsibilities:
Research Interns will have the opportunity to code observational data on children's interactions, assist with data entry and analysis, and gain experience with the collection and analysis of heart rate data.

This dissertation is being conducted in the Laboratory for the Study of Child and Family Relationships in the Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology. Interns can also be a part of several other ongoing projects in the lab if interested.
