Are you a young person interested in using psychology to make a difference in issues impacting youth like you? Join us on May 4, 2019 at I am Psyched! for Youth in celebration of National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. Eight young women who helped to create the I am Psyched! exhibit will present on issues such as mental health stigma, body image and self-esteem, social media, and peer pressure.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Doors open at 12:45 pm
1:00 PM – Tour of the interactive I am Psyched! exhibit and visit stations
2:00 PM – I am Psyched! for Youth presentations (5 mins each)
3:00 PM – Moderated Q&A with Girls Advisory Committee members
4:00 PM - Networking reception with mentors and local psychologists (light refreshments served)

At this FREE and interactive event, you will:
* Share your ideas about the challenges young people face and how to confront them
* Gather with like-minded youth who are interested in psychology and how it relates to social progress
* Visit interactive stations where you can chat with our presenters
* Meet local psychologists who can advise you on pursuing psychology as a career
* Tour the interactive I am Psyched! exhibit and learn more about the women of color who changed the face of psychology
* Receive a FREE set of our new I am Psyched! posters
* Enter to win an I am Psyched! t-shirt and postcard set
