Summer research internship with the Child Development Lab!

Summer Internship 

Description:
The University of Maryland’s Child Development Laboratory, under the direction of Dr. Nathan Fox,  is now accepting applications for their summer internship. Successful applicants will work on a project funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, called the Temperament Over Time Study (TOTS). This large, longitudinal study examines the effects of infant temperament on later social and cognitive development. Participants are now entering middle adolescence, and this position involves being heavily involved in assisting with study visits and data collection.

Responsibilities:
-Data Entry
-Behavioral Coding
-Time Management

Qualifications:
-Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
-A flexible schedule, including weekend availability.
-Majoring in Psychology, Human Cognitive, Affective Neuroscience, or another social science related field
-Experience working or completing research with children is preferred but not required.
