Museum Study Research Assistant position!

Research Assistant Position
The Lab for Early Social Cognition

Description:
The Lab for Early Social Cognition, directed by Dr. Jonathan Beier, is looking for a motivated  Research Assistant to aid in running a brand new study taking place at the Port Discovery Museum in Baltimore. This study is focused on children and their perception of trustworthiness. The individual chosen for this position will start by learning the lab’s general procedures as well as the protocol for the behavioral study. After the protocol is mastered, the individual will be responsible for visiting Port Discovery on the weekends to run the study with children who are visiting the museum as well.

Responsibilities:
Two semester commitment minimum
10 hours per week during school year, mostly done on the weekends
Traveling to the Port Discovery Museum in Baltimore on the weekends
Run behavioral study with children

Qualifications:
Reliable transportation to the museum
Strong academic standing
Professionalism
Strong communication skills
Interest in developmental psychology
