Description:
Center for Discovery is a residential program in confidential locations for adolescents struggling with eating disorders, substance use, and mental health disorders. Discovery provides a therapeutic setting for healing where our clients can safely and effectively address their issues and begin their path to recovery. We believe that recovery is possible, and our staff is deeply committed to the healing and well-being of our clients who struggle.
Responsibilities:
-Facilitate therapeutic groups
-Manage the treatment milieu
-Provide clinical documentation
-Collaborate with other treatment team professionals
-Communicate observations and insights to treatment team
-Introduce new resident to fellow residents and treatment staff
-Orient residents to rules, expectations, and routine of daily treatment schedule
Qualifications:
-Team Player
-Willingness and ability to take initiative
-Understanding of crisis management
-Ability to implement protocols and rules of facility
-Warm, empathetic demeanor
-Ability to set and maintain boundaries as well as treatment structure
-Bachelor's degree required
-Master's degree preferred
