Paid Part-time Research Assistant Position with The Lab of Cognition and Emotion

The Laboratory of Cognition and Emotion (

http://www.lce.umd.edu/) at the University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a part-time Research Assistant position aiding members with a range of duties related to studying humans in both lab and MRI environments. This position pays hourly and individuals should expect to work at least 10 hours per week. Salary Range: $20-$23/hr.

Responsibilities: 

-Schedule and recruit participants for ongoing research projects
-Lead and direct undergraduate research assistant work
-Running and monitoring fMRI experiments without supervision
-Coordination of other regular lab activities such as maintain IRB project and being fund custodian

Qualifications/Requirements:

-This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, well-organized, and personable who is in their junior or senior year of college or recent grad. 

-Prior research experience with fMRI data collection is not required but would be preferred. 

-This position pays hourly and individuals should expect to work at least 10 hours per week and commit at least 2 years
