Meet Your PSYC DEI Student Liaison Isabella Gonzalez

Hi everyone! My name is Isabella Gonzalez, and I’m excited to 

be your new DEI Student Liaison. I’m a senior at UMD majoring in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. After graduation, I plan to pursue a Master’s in Social Work.

Outside of school, I enjoy watching shows and movies, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors. A few fun facts about me: Spanish was my first language and I used to have a pet rabbit and two parakeets.

As student liaison, I help plan initiatives that focus on fostering community and making our department more inclusive and equitable. I am also someone students can reach out to if they would like to share any concerns they have about the climate of the psychology department. To do so, just email me at psycinclusion@umd.edu!
