Washington, D.C. is looking for two clinical research volunteers to help with data collection. The 3M (Meals, monitoring, and medication) intervention is a proposed mobile health intervention to measure and improve diabetes health outcomes in Black adolescence and youth. This study will focus on Black identifying youth, aged 10-15 years old, who have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months.
Responsibilities:
-Attending bi-weekly team meetings, estimated on Friday mornings via zoom.-Attending once-a-month Behavioral Research Team Meetings, first Wednesday of the month.
-Participating in home visits to obtain research data related to the intervention.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-A person with experience or exposure to cultural competency and humility.-Someone open to doing home visits in the area in the afternoon (A car is not necessary).
-A sophomore or junior currently attending a four-year institution.
-Demonstrated writing and editing skills, particularly in Microsoft office.
-Someone interested in psychology and clinical research. (No prior experience required)
