The Department of Psychology Office of Undergraduate Studies is offering a Career Shuttle To The Ivymount School in Rockville, MD on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 8:30 am-1:00 pm.
The Ivymount School and Organization, is a nonprofit organization that provides trusted educational, therapeutic, and professional services and products that invest in the abilities of neurodivergent children and young adults.
During this on-site visit students will learn about:
*Neurodiversity and the populations Ivymount serves
*Ivymount Programs and Services
*Evidence-Based Models Ivymount Utilizes and Practices
*Internship Opportunities and How To Apply
*Bachelor’s Degree Job Titles/Positions
*Advanced Degree Career Paths of Ivymount Staff
Eligibility Requirements:
*Must be a currently enrolled University of Maryland Undergraduate Student
*Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
*No outstanding judicial violations with The University
*No Friday Class Conflicts
*Availability between the hours of 8:30 am and 1:00 pm on Friday 4/5
*A completed and approved short application that is approved by the Dept. of Psychology
