Fall 2023 PSYC 432 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Positions

Apply to be an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant 

for PSYC 432 Counseling Psychology 
for the Fall 2023 Semester!

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for a leadership position, is interested in graduate school or becoming a professor in the future, or who wants to get a behind the scenes look at how a course is developed and run.

 
Applicants who are offered the position may enroll in 2-3 credits of PSYC478.

Responsibilities: 

-Attending weekly teaching team meetings with the instructor and other TAs
-Attend class either Mondays or Wednesdays from 2:00 pm-2:50 pm
-Grade assignments
-Respond to student questions in-class, via the course email, and through online office hours by appointment
-Lead one guest lecture with UTA peers or individually

Qualifications/Requirements: 

-UTAs must be committed to fostering an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
-Must have taken PSYC 432 at UMD and received an A-, A, or A+ in the course
