The Dr. Shawn Long Organizational Science Institute
now accepting applications for the 2023 cohort. The mission of the OS Institute is to diversify the pipeline for graduate education in the organizational sciences. The 2023 OS Institute will be held May 15-18, 2023. The application deadline for Fellows is January 31, 2023.
To be considered for the Institute Fellowship, applicants must:
Be a rising undergraduate junior or senior with a competitive GPA (3.0+ preferred)
Be members of an underrepresented student population.
Be interested in organizations, and are thinking about attending graduate school in an Org Science-related field (e.g., Management, I/O Psychology, Sociology, Organizational Communication)
Be willing to commit to traveling to Charlotte, NC for and participating in the full program
Our OS Institute Fellows will receive:
A small stipend along and paid expenses (food, housing, and travel)
Hands-on research experience with faculty and doctoral Students
One-on-one mentoring with doctoral students and faculty
Network with national experts on graduate education
An invaluable jump start on their graduate education
Free GRE resources and prep course
