Want hands-on experience in public health intervention? Consider joining CORA (Combating Overdoses in Rural Areas), a UMD student nonprofit fighting the crisis through education, overdose response training (ORT), and advocacy. Service activities include drug take back days, informative presentations to local communities, donation drives, and more. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to become certified in ORT and NARCAN administration. Weekly general body meetings are on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 PM in HJP2242 starting Sept. 28.
