Part-Time Lab Manager Position with the Early Childhood Interaction Lab! Great opportunity for recent grad looking to gain more research experience for Grad School!

The Early Childhood Interaction Lab is seeking a bright, 
energetic, and motivated part-time lab manager
(20-hours a week) starting August 2021.

Description:
Research in the ECI Lab focuses on understanding the development of children's cognitive development. The lab specifically focuses examining on how social interactions, play, and informal learning activities promote children’s mathematical and executive functioning development.

Projects being conducted in the lab include understanding how correlates, such as executive functioning, influence how children learn math, examining the benefits and unique processes of learning through joint play and activities, and understanding the role of the home environment on children's mathematical development.

Salary will be competitive and includes health benefits. Application review will begin immediately. This is a 1-year position.

Responsibilities:
Data collection in local schools and virtually
Participant and school recruitment
Preparation and management of IRB protocols
Data entry and database management
Transcription of video recorded interactions
Supervise undergraduate research assistants
General upkeep of the lab

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human development, public health, education, or related field
Access to a car for travelling to schools for data collection
Availability to work during school hours
Preference will be given to applicants with previous research experience or prior experience working with children
