Interested in I/O Psychology? Apply for a Research Assistant position with the Dynamical Systems Lab!

The Dynamical Systems Lab is looking for Research Assistants 
who are interested in working in the lab for Spring 2023. This position allows for course credit for PSYC479 or a volunteering opportunity and we give preference to candidates interested in continuing in the Spring. More Information HERE  Apply HERE.
 
Research projects within the lab are centered on the following topics in Industrial/Organizational Psychology: Leadership & Followership, Measurement, Personnel Selection, Diversity in Organizations, and Organizational Agility. Training will be provided for any/all tasks.

Undergraduates who are interested in the field of I/O Psychology are strongly encouraged to apply! Getting involved in the lab is a great way to build research experience, which can enhance your resume and help with landing a job after graduation or gaining acceptance to graduate school. Opportunities are available for independent study and mentoring!

Responsibilities:
-Assist with participant recruitment, data collection, and study maintenance
-Conduct literature reviews
-Program surveys on Qualtrics
-Data processing and analysis in RStudio
-Weekly attendance of lab meetings is mandatory

Qualifications
-Competitive GPA (3.3+ preferred, lower acceptable depending on coursework)
-Prior experience with programming (RStudio, Python, SPSS Syntax, etc.)
-Conscientious and highly motivated
-6 hours a week minimum, 9 hours a week preferred
-Completion of PSYC200 and PSYC300
-Knowledge about IO psychology or completion of PSYC361 (Survey of Industrial and Organizational Psychology) is a plus.
