Love working with kids? Consider applying to be a mentor with America Reads/America Counts Partners in Print!

America Reads*America Counts*Partners in Print
is a mentoring/tutoring program where more than 200 UMD students work weekly to improve the literacy and math skills of Prince George’s County elementary school students. We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic college students who love working with kids and want to give back to their community.

America Reads*America Counts*Partners in Print is a great way to meet new friends on campus, develop essential leadership skills, and gain valuable
resume-building experience!

We are currently recruiting for each of our programs. Students can volunteer,
receive academic or internship credit, or, if eligible for Federal Work
Study, can be paid to work with our program! Don’t know if you have Federal
Work Study? Check your Financial Aid package at www.testudo.umd.edu.

Visit go.umd.edu/mentorFA2019 to learn more and to apply. Applications will
be accepted on a rolling basis until August 28th at 5pm.

Training and transportation are provided!
