The first year out of college is critical for college students. The Grad CareerFestival is a four-day virtual event scheduled for June 25th-28th and runs from 11 am – 8 pm EDT each day, that will provide grads with the knowledge and skills they need to support their job search. Graduates can participate in live presentations by 36 of the nation’s top career authors and 36 career coaches.
This year’s motto focuses on the 3 P’s!
Plan – Graduates will learn how critically important it will be to create a career plan.
Prepare – Authors and coaches will help them understand how to prepare to execute their plan.
Play – So they can lead a successful career with plenty of time to play!
Students and new alumni can participate for FREE by logging into the link posted below. There are four tracks grads can participate in; Career Management, Job Search, Post-Graduation Life, and Soft Skills.
At the top of the hour career authors will make short (20-35 minutes) Ted-talk length presentations and offer three tips, skills, or strategies to help grads launch and lead successful careers. Following their talks there will be a short Q&A session. At twenty minutes to each hour Clifton Strengths Finder certified career coaches from Soar.com will also share three general ideas grads can implement immediately.
