PSYC Terp CommUNITY Town Hall
When: Thursday, February 28 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Where: BRB 1103
Why: To discuss the results of the Department of Psychology’s Undergraduate Multicultural Assessment Survey and recommendations to improve inclusiveness for all members of our PSYC Terp Community. Please RSVP here.
At the end of the Fall 2018 semester, students enrolled in PSYC courses were asked to complete a Multicultural Climate Assessment. The purpose of the survey was for the Department of Psychology's Diversity Committee to understand how inclusive the Psychology department feels to you. We asked to hear your honest feedback about our strengths and weaknesses as they relate to our mission of creating a respectful, affirming, and inclusive environment. Impressively, over 1,400 students taking psychology courses completed the survey!
Today, we invite you to our second annual PSYC Terp CommUNITY Town Hall event to learn about what your peers had to say about the strengths and weaknesses of the Department of Psychology’s multicultural climate. We will discuss the results of the survey and recommendations for creating a more inclusive department.
