Post-Bac Research Assistant Positions

The Psychosocial Research Program at Butler Hospital is looking to hire 2-4 full-time research assistants to work on projects related to suicide assessment in a psychiatric inpatient setting. In particular, we are hiring for projects focused on identification of novel risk factors for suicidal ideation and behavior using laboratory-based behavioral and physiological assessments, smartphone technology, brain imaging and the analysis of speech patterns (Directors: Michael Armey, Ph.D., Heather Schatten, Ph.D., & Ivan Miller, Ph.D.) as well as treatment development studies for suicide (Director: Ivan Miller, Ph.D.). Positions will start from July – September 2019.
BA in psychology or related field required. Experience with psychology research and/or working with psychiatric patients desirable.
