Summer Internship with the APA Center for Workforce Studies!

Summer Internship
American Psychological Association
Center for Workforce Studies
Washington, DC
Apply HERE

The APA Center for Workforce Studies collects, analyzes and disseminates information relevant to psychology’s workforce and educational system. To do this, the center conducts major periodic surveys examining the early employment experiences of new doctorates in psychology, salaries of psychologists and the characteristics of new degree recipients (degree level, fields, employment, debt, salaries, etc.) as well as the characteristics of graduate departments (e.g., faculty salaries and student characteristics). We also analyze data from federal agencies, such as the National Science Foundation and U.S. Census Bureau. With the rapid changes in the health care arena, the center is also focusing on issues of supply, demand and workforce distribution.

The APA Center for Workforce Studies is seeking an undergraduate student or recent graduate intern. The intern will assist with several workforce research projects, including survey administration, data cleaning, record keeping and other tasks. Must be proficient in Excel, such as sorting data, creating figures and tables, and working with formulas. Experience with survey programming and SPSS is a plus. Apply HERE
