Research Assistant position in the Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience Lab!

Undergraduate Research Assistant
Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience Lab (CCNLab)

Description:
The Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience Lab (CCNLab) investigates brain mechanisms underlying emotion and cognition using EEG, MRI, and other psychophysiological measures (e.g. skin conductance, heart rate). We work to understand how functional brain activity is disrupted for clinical problems such as substance abuse, aggression, depression, and anxiety, with a focus on how behavior in these brain mechanisms be changed through treatment. Studies are conducted both on campus and at an inpatient drug rehabilitation center in NE D.C.. This work is relevant to students interested in various areas of psychology, such as clinical, cognitive, forensic, physiological, social, and developmental, as well as students with basic science interests in the brain, such as biology, neuroscience, and engineering.
