 Description:
Active Minds (www.activeminds.org) is the nation’s premier nonprofit organization supporting mental health awareness and education for students. Through award-winning programs and services, Active Minds is empowering a new generation to speak openly, act courageously, and change the conversation about mental health for everyone. Active Minds has collaborative, cross-departmental internship opportunities for anyone interested in learning more about how a non-profit organization functions. Successful candidates will further develop their project management skills and learn how to integrate their work across multiple departments, such as programs, communications and fundraising. The ideal applicant will have strong skills in organization, multitasking, and researching. The internship provides excellent opportunities to network with leaders in the nonprofit and behavioral health field. *Please note that we are looking for interns for multiple departments, including programs, communications

Responsibilities:
-Research, Writing, Editing Projects
-Administrative and Data Entry Support
-Communications and Social Media Support
-Supporting small and large-scale event planning
-Design/Creative Projects
-Special Projects as needed
-Minimum of 20 hours required

Qualifications:
-Excellent writing, editing and research skills
-Ability to work in a flexible, fun, and strongly team-oriented environment
-Superior communication and interpersonal skill
-Detail-oriented, well-organized and reliable
-Creativity and a can-do attitude
-Must be able to prioritize, be dependable and manage projects
-Able to work independently and take initiative
-Highest level of confidentiality and attention to detail
-Strong time management skills
-Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced environment
