Description:
The Early Childhood Interaction Lab, directed by Dr. Geetha Ramani, is seeking bright and   motivated assistants for Spring 2019. Our research focuses on understanding how young children's social interactions with peers and adults influences cognitive development and early math learning. The lab specifically studies how play and informal learning activities promote children’s thinking in mathematics and problem solving. Research assistants are responsible for a variety of daily lab activities, including data collection in a Washington, DC elementary school and data coding and entry. This opportunity is ideal for students interested in graduate school, or those interested in gaining valuable hands on research experience. EDHD course credit available.
