Child Stress and Emotions Laboratory (CSEL)

Description:
The Child Stress and Emotions Laboratory (CSEL) in the Department of Psychology is seeking talented and motivated undergraduate research assistants interested in earning course credit for PSYC479. Research Assistants will assist in recruitment efforts, checking data for completion, and contacting participants for a preschool daily mood study. Research Assistants will also work on recruiting participants for a pilot study targeting parents of LGBT youth and screening potential participants. Currently, the lab is looking for summer RAs who can complete a two-semester-commitment to the lab. The summer position will be a non-credit volunteer position but the fall and spring positions will earn the student course credit.  

Responsibilities:
-Recruitment
-Data Checking
-Contacting participants
-Minimum 2 semester commitment

Qualifications:
-Minimum 3.0 GPA
-Previous research experience preferred
-Experience with SPSS preferred
