Share your helping behavior and/or mental health management story as part of the Mental Health De-Stigmatization and Wellness Campaign!

Mental Health De-Stigmatization & Wellness Campaign
The Department of Resident Life is taking on an initiative to launch our first official Mental Health De-Stigmatization & Wellness campaign. The idea behind this campaign is to open up the topic of mental health, to encourage Terps to share their stories, and to work towards a thriving campus where everyone can seek help.

As we take the first steps toward launching this campaign, we are seeking individuals who would be willing to share ways they take care of themselves, how they have helped others, and success stories about accessing resources or opening up about mental health challenges. We will use these stories in a variety of written, photo, and video outlets and will contact contributors to discuss further how we would want to share their particular story.

The soft launch is scheduled to take place in January 2018 at the beginning of the spring semester. If you would like to share your story, you can access the interest form here.

Feel free to contact Dr. Leslie Krafft, North Campus Residential Case Manager at lkrafft@umd.edu with any questions, comments, or concerns regarding this campaign or process.
