Description:
The Torture Abolition and Survivors' Support Coalition (TASSC) is a non-profit organization that campaigns against torture and provides direct services to torture survivors who are seeking asylum in the USA. The organization has a small, highly-skilled staff, but much of their work is carried out by dedicated volunteers. Currently, the social and psychological services team is looking for a volunteer research assistant to help with collecting and collating data on psychological well-being.

Qualifications/Requirements: 
This role would involve around 2-3 hours of work each Thursday, and would be ideally suited to someone who:
- is organized, conscientious, and reliable
- is comfortable using spreadsheets
- has an interest in community social support, human rights, and advocacy
- can work from TASSC's offices in Washington DC during week-day working hours
- can commit for a full semester.
