DC Collaborative for Mental Health Access in Pediatric Care

Description:
The DC Collaborative for Mental Health in Pediatric Primary Care is seeking undergraduates to assist with clinical research focused on mental health integration within pediatric primary care. The student will participate in various clinical research activities such as assisting with data collection and analysis, conducting literature reviews, and working with members of the research team. The student can choose a particular area of interest within the ongoing projects or from prior collected data and can work towards an academic product such as a paper or presentation. Projects currently underway pertain to a variety of areas related to mental health integration, though our most active current projects pertain to the DC MAP program (www.dcmap.org) and use of community-based family navigators supporting families in connecting from primary care to community-based services.
Responsibilities:
-Data collection (informed consent, interview and questionnaire)
-Data entry/cleaning
-Assistance with data analysis (including qualitative data)
-Literature reviews
Qualifications:
-Attention to detail
-Flexibility
