Description:
This position will be responsible for independently performing routine behavioral tests on hearing in birds, contributing to the general operation of the laboratory, and assisting with the care and feeding of small birds. He/she will be expected to follow established procedures or protocols and for analyzing avian vocalizations and performing various behavioral and audiometric tests to measure vocal learning and hearing capabilities. 

Responsibilities:
This position is ideal for someone with a Bachelor’s degree who is interested in gaining experience in behavioral research prior to going to graduate school.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, neuroscience, biopsychology or related field required. Some research experience as an undergraduate and or related post undergraduate work experience preferred.
