Culture Lab seeking Summer Research Assistant with programming experience!

Summer Research Assistant Position
Culture Lab

Description:
The Culture Lab is searching for a summer RA to program a virtual game that participants in a future  study will play. This game will be a modification of a game like The Sims, and participants will be able to make choices to direct their character within the game. The lab is in need of someone with experience and knowledge in game programming and modification who is able to work with existing source code to develop this game. The lab has funds available to pay an RA who can assist in programming this game.

Responsibilities:
At least 8 hours/week
Assist on game development, programming experimental stimuli
Assist with writing

Qualifications:
Interest and experience in Computer Science
Has experience in programming (e.g. C/C++)
Has experience in developing virtual world game (i.e. The Sims)
Ability to quickly understand existing code and enhance and build on an existing architecture
Strong problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
