Identity Management (IMg) Lab
Fall 2019/Spring 2020

Description:
UMD's IMg lab is seeking undergraduate research assistants (starting Fall 2019) who have a passion for research and issues related to diversity, stigmatization, and discrimination, as well as issues related to identity and authenticity. This lab explores questions such as: how individuals who are in the minority manage their identities on a daily basis, the outcomes associated with those choices, and how to effectively have "tough conversations" around prejudice and identity. Research assistants need to be reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about the research topic area. Additional criteria below. 

Qualifications:
-first, second, or third years (as of Fall 2019)
-at least 2 consecutive semester commitment
-Interest in diversity
