Fund for the Public Interest Information Session
Monday, March 6, 2017 and Tuesday, March 7, 2017 – 11:00am-3:30pm
Location: University Career Center, 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing
The Fund for the Public Interest is a national non-profit organization that runs grassroots advocacy campaigns for some of the top progressive groups in the country, like USPIRG, Environment America and the Human Rights Campaign. We are hiring students for summer jobs in citizen outreach offices in over fifty cities across the country this summer. The job includes team-building and staff management, fundraising, petitioning and other types of political organizing. This information session will give an overview of the organization, the campaigns, and the positions available and will be directly followed by individual interviews.
