The Department of Psychology at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC is to announce that our M.A. program is now titled: Psychological Science. This change (from General Psychology) was made to better reflect our emphasis on training researchers and scholars in the scientific foundations of the field of Psychology.

The Psychological Science M.A. degree is ideal for those:
· Planning to apply to Ph.D. program but needing additional Psychology experience.
· Looking to gain additional Psychology research experience.

The M.A. in Psychological Science is a thesis-optional terminal degree awarded after 31 hours of coursework. Required courses provide training in a breadth of content areas including clinical, cognitive, developmental, experimental, neuroscience, and social psychology.
