Description: The Nova program on PBS will be filming a live re-enactment of a Motivated Cognition Lab Experiment on Saturday, August 13th. (The filming will be in BPS 3124 from 12 pm to 6 pm) The Lab is in need of 1-2 volunteers who can act as research participants during the show; essentially, a professor will be giving you instructions, and you will be completing the study as if you were a "real" research participant. You don't need to know anything ahead of time; the Lab will give you exact instructions to follow when you come in on that day. In return, you get to be on TV! You also get some research experience in a real lab setting and learn how experiments are conducted.

Qualifications/Requirements:
-Available 12-6 pm on Saturday, August 13th
-Interest in being filmed
-Interest in psychological research
If interested and available on Saturday, August 13th, please contact Marina Chernikova at mchernik@umd.edu.
