Culture Lab recruiting for summer research assistants!

Summer Research Assistant Positions
Culture Lab

Description:
The Culture Lab (director Michele Gelfand) is looking for motivated and hardworking research assistants for the upcoming summer and fall semester. Our lab, within the Social Decision Making and Organizational Science program of psychology department, has a very board interest, including cultural norms and cultural values, negotiation, conflict, revenge, and forgiveness. We work with computer scientists, neuroscientists and political scientists. If hired, research assistants will have the opportunity to work on several social and cross-cultural projects that investigate the normative behavior of people in their daily lives and its mechanisms. All RAs will be trained in high-level research skills, including experimental design, data coding and analysis. In addition, these positions offer an amazing research opportunity for people who want to learn knowledge about cross-cultural and social research, earn experience in highly interdisciplinary field and improve writing skills.

Responsibilities:
-Minimum 6-8 hours per week
-Data Entry and Coding
-Literature reviews
-Data Analysis
-Writing

Qualifications: 
-Minimum 3.0 GPA
-Strong problem-solving skills
-Personal interest in psychology, social sciences, neuroscience
-Excellent writing skills
-Experience with MATLAB, Python, SPSS, or R (preferred but not necessary)
