Become a Paid Recruitment Assistant with the Infant and Child Studies Consortium!

Infant and Child Studies Consortium
Outreach Assistant (Paid position)

Description:
The Infant & Child Studies group is looking to hire several paid recruitment assistants to help enhance our pool of participating families. Recruitment assistants would attend local community events, in combination with our recruitment coordinator, and talk to parents about participating in research. This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, outgoing, and likes talking to people. It also requires having a flexible schedule, since many of these events occur on weekends or in the evenings. While recruitment assistants are not expected to be free to attend every such event, recruitment assistants are expected to make a legitimate effort to attend whenever possible. Hours per week will likely vary, ranging from 2-10 most weeks; pay will thus depend on hours worked any particular week.

  • Attending community events
  • Explaining research participation opportunities to parents
  • Marketing for research participation

  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest in children and research
