The Maryland Psychotherapy Clinic and Research Lab (MPCRL) provides high-quality, low-cost counseling and psychotherapy to adults in the Prince George's, Montgomery County, and Washington, D.C. area. Research conducted in the lab aims to study the effectiveness of psychotherapy. The lab is looking for motivated undergraduate research assistants for the Winter and Spring 2016 semesters. Those who have taken PSYC433: Basic Helping Skills are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:
-Minimum six hours per week
-Behavioral coding of therapy sessions
-Transcription of interviews
-Administrative duties
-Interaction with clients and therapists
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3.0 GPA
-Psychology major
-Interest in psychotherapy research
-Motivated
-Able to work independently
