Cornerstone Montgomery specializes in the provision of comprehensive, community-and evidence-based, mental health and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder treatments and interventions.
Cornerstone Montgomery is currently seeking a Rehabilitation Counselor to join our Supported Living Program.
Position Summary: Cornerstone Montgomery's Supported Living Program provides the same comprehensive and individualized supports as our Residential Rehabilitation Program, and can be provided in the client's own home or elsewhere within the community. Programs are developed according to client needs and choices. The Supported Living staff offer counseling, helping clients develop and accomplish Individualized Rehabilitation Goals, as well as assist them in dealing with the pressures and challenges of daily life such as, menu planning, shopping, cleaning, budgeting and participating in leisure and therapeutic activities. Counselors must also provide counseling, behavior management and crisis intervention as well as monitor medication to insure compliance with medical instruction.
