The Torture Abolition Survivors Support Coalition (TASSC) is looking for an undergraduate intern/volunteer. TASSC is a torture treatment center in the Washington DC area, providing direct services and engaging in advocacy for survivors of torture.

Responsibilities include:
· Data entry – inputing data collected on psychological and social service outcomes, and demographics into databases.
· Assisting TASSC’s employment counselor with updating the database of survivors and their professions/professional skills
· Potential to get involved in other programming at TASSC (advocacy, development, legal, social services or mental health).

TASSC is a survivor-run organization with the mission of engaging in advocacy to end the practice of torture, and providing (legal, social service, employment, mental health, medical) care to address the needs of survivors of torture. TASSC is located near Catholic University, and are about a 15 minute walk from Brookland/CUA metro. Visit the TASSC website at www.tassc.org for more information.
